We have noticed many couples using coffee table books to create designer guest books. A growing number of coffee table books are being submitted with various designs that allow space for wedding guests to add hand written messages (we’ve seen a few books for various birthdays too).
The typical books display pictures of the bride and groom in various stages as they grew up, right through to present-day – collage pages work well. As many couples have a formal engagement, there is seldom a shortage of couple pictures to fill up those pages.

Ideal engagement gift: Gift Vouchers
This makes for a wonderful engagement gift. Friends and family could purchase a voucher for the couple to create their own guest book. This would go very well with a fun, couple photo shoot for them to use images in the book. Many photographers offer pre-wedding packages. Using the wedding photographer for this type of shoot means the couple gets to work with the photographer before the big day. I could see this making the relationship between couple and photographer leading to a more relaxed day and better photographs.

Studio22 Album Maker software now includes a guest book option. It is our popular A4 Cappuccino book with 40 pages. To make this a more affordable option, we have allowed the first 4 pages to be full colour printed while the balance of the book will be blank white pages for messages. As you design, if you prefer to have more pages, you can add more at the same rate as any other A4 coffee table book. Naturally, you could use any of the other book options and print all the pages with pictures while leaving blank spaces for messages.
