Terms & Conditions:

By placing an order, you agree to the terms and conditions published on this website.

Due to the natural variations in materials and the unique nature of laser engraving and cutting, results may differ from samples, previous orders, or display items. Factors such as material composition, surface finish, colour, grain, density, coatings, and manufacturing variations can affect the final result.

Materials supplied by the customer are accepted entirely at the customer’s risk. While every reasonable care is taken during handling and production, Studio22 cannot be held liable for damage, loss, or unsatisfactory results arising from the characteristics of supplied materials or the engraving process itself.

Natural materials such as wood and leather may contain knots, grain variations, colour differences, marks, or other natural imperfections. These characteristics form part of the material and are not considered defects.

Material availability is subject to stock on hand. Special-order materials may require additional lead times of up to 8 working days. We recommend placing orders well in advance where specific materials are required.

Artwork Requirements

Artwork may be supplied by the client, or our design team can assist with artwork creation and preparation. If you are unsure whether your file is suitable, please contact Samy for assistance.

Preferred File Formats (Vector Artwork)

For the best engraving and cutting results, we recommend:

  • EPS (Adobe Illustrator)
  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • CDR (CorelDRAW)
  • PDF (Vector-based)

All text must be converted to outlines, curves, or paths before submission.

Raster Artwork

The following formats may be suitable for engraving:

  • JPEG
  • PNG
  • TIFF

Images should be supplied at a minimum of 300dpi, with 600dpi preferred for fine detail.

Artwork Guidelines

  • Black-and-white artwork produces the most consistent results.
  • Avoid gradients, shading, transparency effects, and greyscale images where possible.
  • Logos and artwork in a single solid colour are generally suitable.
  • Fine details may require artwork adjustments before production.

Additional Supported Formats

We can also import:

  • SVG
  • DXF
  • Most formats compatible with Adobe Illustrator

Please note that laser engraving and cutting use different artwork requirements from traditional printing. Artwork that is suitable for print may require modification before it can be engraved or cut successfully.
