"Best quality photo prints I've seen in YEARS! Beautiful matte photo paper, absolutely stunning colours. Took a chance and ordered online, no adjustments to my images, no idea what to expect… What a surprise and absolute pleasure to receive my small, well packaged order, so promptly. Best price, professional quality, super helpful when I called for help with payment too. I can wholeheartedly recommend Studio 22 … 122%."

FTP – a world of possibilities.

An increased number of international photographers are sending their images to Studio22 for colour correction (Post production). The photographers download their images to their secure password protected folder on the Studio22 FTP server, we arrange the colour correction and contact the photographer once the images are ready to be uploaded.

In the past, a DVD of images would be sent via courier or mail, once complete the images would return via the mail on DVD. This was limited to larger projects like weddings that did not have urgent deadlines. Today we are able to process smaller orders like single portrait sittings or small functions in a matter of hours. As there is no longer a need to wait for the postal services, images can be downloaded to Studio22, colour corrected and uploaded faster than most photographers are able to get work to their local lab, or even find the time to do it themselves.

A key factor may be the lower cost of image processing in South Africa. As the World Wide Web brings us all closer together in the ‘global village’, South Africa is no longer a far away land. Our FTP technology puts us at the other end of the Internet connection be it 100m or 10000km away.
