At Studio22, we offer a streamlined fulfillment service tailored for artists and resellers. Our goal is to provide a seamless and professional experience, allowing you to focus on your craft while we handle the production and shipping of your orders.
How Our Fulfillment Works
Our fulfillment service is built into our ordering process, ensuring efficiency without additional service fees. This means the product prices already account for fulfillment and order processing. Shipping, however, is always charged separately.
Shipping in South Africa
To simplify costs, we have adopted a fixed-fee shipping approach for our online stores:
- Door-to-door delivery within South Africa: R198 per order, regardless of size, weight, number of items, location, or order value.
- This rate is often subsidized based on *the law of averages.
Regional Exceptions
For resellers, there is one exception: Regional door-to-door deliveries can sometimes cost three to four times more than our standard rate. In such cases, we will notify you of the additional charge, which you will be responsible for covering. While rare, this can happen—especially for large framed prints delivered to remote locations.

Avoiding Unexpected Shipping Costs
To minimize unexpected shipping fees, consider these two options:
- Use your own shipping calculator on your website if possible, ensuring accurate cost calculations in advance.
- Arrange your own courier by selecting our ‘courier pick’ option. We will package the order and notify you when it is ready for collection.
Some resellers integrate both options—activating their courier service only when we confirm the order is ready for dispatch.
White-Label Shipping & Branding Options
We offer white-label shipping, meaning we do not include our invoice or brand the packaging in any way. This allows you to ship orders directly to your clients as if they were sent from you.
Additionally, we offer the option to include your own branding elements, such as:
- Custom packaging
- Gift notes
- Promotional inserts
This is a great way to strengthen your brand and enhance your customer’s unboxing experience.
Packaging Considerations
We take packaging very seriously to ensure your artwork arrives safely. Our approach includes:
- Large prints: Rolled in a protective shipping core for lightweight, secure transport.
- Mounted prints (e.g., Metro Block, Border Light, Eco Block, Canvas): Designed to be lightweight and less fragile compared to framed prints with glass.
- Framed prints with glass: Require additional protection, and we recommend keeping glass sizes A2 or smallerto reduce breakage risks.
- Insurance: PostNet is the only courier we are aware of that offers insurance on framed products. Most couriers do not accept liability for frames or glass.
No Minimum Order & Packaging Fees
We do not have a minimum order quantity as we operate on *the law of averages. However, if a specific product requires significantly more packaging than a typical order, a packaging fee may apply. We assess this on a case-by-case basis.
Exclusive Reseller VIP Program
Our resellers qualify for a VIP discount code, which provides discounted rates on most of our products. This is not an automatic benefit—it is earned over time, and reviewed annually.
The VIP status is awarded through a team vote after three or more months of working together and reviewing the artist’s order history. This ensures that the program remains exclusive to serious resellers who align with our business values and workflow.
