Employee of the month – January 2009
It may sound like a cliché but Speranda is one of those people who is always willing to go the extra mile, nothing is too much trouble. Her bubbly personality is almost always accompanied by a smile. When something needs doing, Speranda is the first person who comes to mind, you know Speranda will get it done.
Speranda will be adopting an administration post at Studio22 and be less involved at the counter. Customers will be seeing her behind the scenes “getting things done’. This however will be taking place over the next few weeks as she will be involved in training her replacement.
Thank you Speranda! Keep up the great work.
Employee of the month – February 2009
Jeff has proved himself over time. With his professional manner and multiple skills, he is able to assist many clients with vastly different requirements across the variety of services offered at Studio22. Staff and clients soon realize, Studio22 is no ordinary lab. Studio22 requires a team that is out of the ordinary. The range of products and services offered at Studio22 are far greater than any other lab. Jeff is able to discuss and capture almost all the photographic related orders passing our counter on a daily basis – this in turn speeds up the entire process and get the product back to the client in minimal time.
Thank you Jeff! Keep up the extra-ordinary work.
Employee of the month – March 2009
As we only introduced our employee of the month incentive in 2009 (in conjunction with our Studio22 blog) it is safe to say that Ingrid would certainly have had a few of these “ticks” next to her name in the past few years. I am sure many clients will agree that Ingrid should have an “employee of the year” award for her dedication and long service. Ingrid has been with Studio22 since shortly after the opening of thephotolab@studio22 in 2002.
Starting her service on the counter, she without a doubt took ownership of her post and joined the Studio22 family with true Passion and caring. Caring not only for the customers but for Studio22 and the team as a whole.
Although, at first, many customers were not happy with me for moving her off the counter and into design, it did not take long before they too noticed her talent for design. We thought she was passionate about her duties while assisting clients at the sales count, she overwhelmed us with her skills and fast learning. Her flair for design is evident in the many projects she has been entrusted with over the past few years.
Elton, we thank you for your consistent high quality workmanship, flexibility, passion and willingness to work regular overtime to reach our continuous tight deadlines.
Thank you Elton! Keep up the extra-ordinary work.
I know without hesitation that the rest of the team agrees with me.
Employee of the month – May 2009
Toyer is our longest standing member of staff, with over twenty years at the business. Toyer started as the assistant to our picture framer back in the mid 80’s. Needless to say, he has grown from strength to strength. Toyer may be the silent type but his workmanship and absolute fixation to quality speaks volumes. Not only is Toyer involved in every frame that leaves Colin Sunkel Framing (at Studio22), he is also responsible for most of the carpentry work in the building of Studio22 as it stands today – from the counters in our reception through to the dry walling in our canteen, accounts office and worktops for all departments (we can add tiling to his repertoire as he is also responsible for this fantastic job in our new ‘Books Store’ at Studio22). Our framing department works seamlessly with other departments allowing Studio22 as a whole to produce a wide variety of products and services.
Thank you Toyer, we are extremely proud to have you on our team and look forward to many more years with you in our family.
