DIY Matt boards
Our Slide-in Matts are top quality, 100% pulp matts that are acid free and alkaline buffered to combat the natural ageing of the paper, protect your print, and ensure longevity. All openings are bevel-cut, and each top matt is affixed to a back mount board. These matts are open at the top to allow prints to slide-in easily. Slide-in matts are available in your choice of white or black.

We manufacture a range of DIY matt boards. *We have many requests from photographers looking for 7×10 inch slide-in mounts, or Matt boards. Sue Bryce has become a big brand in promoting photography.
Her drive to share the advantages of In-Person Sales (IPS) has made her a celebrity in the photography industry. Shunning the “shoot and burn” trend Sue recommends offering matted prints and selling on her well known “reveal wall”.
PLEASE NOTE: The window, or opening, is cut slightly smaller to allow it to overlap the print. We work on a global standard for photographic sizes (with the exception of the 7×10″) . The overlap is approx. 3mm on all sides (this will then be smaller than the image size).

** In-Store Mounting involves a different process whereby the prints are vacuum pressed onto the backing board and the matt board is place securely over the print and glued into place. The end product is no longer a ‘slide-in’ mount and remains permanent.
When will my order be ready?
Studio22online operates on a standard 7-day production cycle for all framing and mounting products. You will be notified of the estimated completion date via email once your order is scheduled for production. Please be aware that the timeline may be subject to change if our production team is at full capacity. Once your order is ready for dispatch or pickup, a notification email will be sent to you from our server. Please note that express orders may incur additional fees.

Pickup or Delivery
Photo Products and Prints can be shipped nationwide, to your door or nearest Postnet or PAXI counter. Production time does not include delivery time. We currently offer 6 delivery options online.
