It’s called UV printing.
UV printing allows us to print on a diverse range of substrates. Printing is possible on almost anything, from bricks to tiles and wood or metal. It also prints with white ink, this allows printing on dark
Costing:
Due to the wide range of possibilities, media and options, all custom projects will need to be individually quoted. Additional fees apply for white ink use as well as design and labour. Some surfaces may require primer and testing.
About the process:
UV inks are cured with Ultra Violet light, hence the reference to UV. Our system uses a liquid cooled LED lamp mounted on the print head. This means the image is dry before it leaves the print bed. Our UV printer uses the same print head as our photographic printers, so print quality is exceptional. Our UV Ink is not flexible, so it is best suited for rigid substrates. There are a number of factors that determine what can be printed on, so do not hesitate to contact us, if we have not already printed on a media you want to try, we will be keen to test it too.
