It’s time for the second running of the Edgemead Classic hosted at Edgemead Primary School on Saturday the 29th of November 2014. To add to the fun, this year the race will also include a Photo-on-the-Day contest sponsored by Studio22 in partnership with Lynne New Estates Edgemead Classic fun run/walk.
With a 10km road run, 10km league race walk and a 5km fun run on offer, there is something for everybody. This race will take you through the suburbs of Edgemead and Monte Vista. The fairly flat route has the potential for some fast times. Kids under 10 can participate in the 5km fun run but will need to have adult supervision.

The Photo–on-the-Day is aimed at everyone who enjoys photography! Enter and you could win a 1st prize; Fujifilm Digital Camera valued at R2500, 2nd prize; A2 Canvas with 20 or 45mm Stretcher valued at R698 or 3rd Prize; A2 Shadow Wrap valued at R395.
Whether you are shooting with your DSRL camera or capturing the moment on your smartphone, then this contest is for you! Studio22 are giving you the opportunity to submit your best picture on the day and stand a chance to win some awesome prizes!
Studio22 will be attending the fun walk/race where we will be there routing for you and available for enquiries you might have of the contest.
How to enter:
- Enter one of the three races on Saturday 29 November, 2014 of the Edgemead Classic at Edgemead Primary School.
- Take a picture on the day
- Give your image a title
- Submit your best image of the day & title along with your race number to social@studio22.co.za
- Entries close 6th of December, 2014 at 17:00 PM
Terms & Conditions
- The competition is open to all South African residents, 18 or older.
- Entries need to be of an image taken on the day of the race.
- Submit your picture on the day or thereafter, until competition closes.
- Only one entry per person.
- Judge Decision is final & no exchanges or returns available – the prize is awarded as it is.
- The prizes will be awarded to the winners (1st prize; Fujifilm Digital Camera valued at R2500), (2nd prize; A2 Canvas with 20 or 45mm Stretcher valued at R698) (3rd Prize; A2 Shadow Wrap valued at R395 )
- The date of the presentation is depending on stock availability.
- Submitting your image & title, along with your race number is needed to enter.
