Then come join Ben Tyler on Friday the 10th of April, 2015 from 9:30 am to 12: 30 pm hosted at Studio22 for only R500. Come and learn the fundamentals of off camera flash using inexpensive equipment to create professional quality photographs.
Who is Ben Tyler?
Ben was fortunate to secure an apprenticeship with one of Cape Town’s most awarded photographers Colin Sunkel. Ben worked for Colin, and his company Studio 22 (professional studio and photographic lab) for many years before moving back to the UK.
He has been a professional wedding photographer for over a decade and has taken wedding photographs for couples all over the world.
As well as photographing weddings, Ben also shoots fashion and corporate photographs from his studio. He regularly produces work for a variety of publications, and his work can be seen in every issue of Wed Magazine.

Outline
This is a course for people who would like to learn the fundamentals of working with off camera flash to achieve studio like lighting results. It is suitable for photographers of all different levels of experience.
Session One:
During this session we look at the theory behind working with off camera flash. What equipment you need to get started. We’ll also talk through how to approach taking different photos, and the thought process that Ben goes through when deciding how to photograph them.
Session Two:
This session will focus on giving you hands on time working with the equipment, and getting some practice experience. Looking at different lighting situations and what can be achieved with off camera flash.
Ben will be around for an hour after the course to ask any photography related questions that you may want to try and catch him out with.
